FEDERAL COLLEGE OF WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT, NEW BUSA TRAINS 300 IN OGUN STATE.
In a bid to empower local communities and boost economic growth, the Federal College of Wildlife Management, New Bussa, recently conducted a training program on livestock and Shea butter oil production in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The training, facilitated by Senator Olugbenga Onaolapo Obadara, representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, brought together 300 men and women from the state.
In attendance were notable personalities, including Dr. Halidu SK, Dr. Adelakun Kehinde, Mrs. Ayeni Saadah Muhammad, and Mr. Olusola Gbolahan Onasanya. The Provost Federal College of Wildlife Management, Dr. Halidu said that the training was designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to venture into livestock and Shea butter oil production.
According to Senator Obadara, the training was part of his constituent project aimed at empowering local communities and promoting economic development in the state. He expressed his commitment to supporting initiatives that would improve the livelihoods of his constituents and contribute to the state’s economic growth.
The training program covered various aspects of livestock and Shea butter oil production, including best practices, market trends, and product development. Participants were also given the opportunity to engage with industry experts and share their experiences.
The Federal College of Wildlife Management’s initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy and improve the livelihoods of the trained individuals.
